6th suspect arrested in 79th St. crime spree

Isaiah Hill apprehended in Texas

INDIANAPOLIS - A sixth person has been arrested in connection with the home robbery and assault at a 79th Street home in October.

Isaiah (Zeke) Hill faces 35 charges and is currently in Texas awaiting extradition to Marion County, officials said Friday.

Hill is the sixth person to be charged in the Oct. 29 break-in. Other suspects include Adrian Anthony, Demetre Brown, Alexander Dupree, Michael Pugh and Trae Spells.

Court documents released following the other suspects' arrests outlined the hours inside and outside the home, including how the men got in through an unsecured back door, demanded phones, cash, car keys and jewelry.

The documents said the men raped the daughter and sexually assaulted the mother -- while the father and husband was forced to stay in his bedroom.

The mother was shot once before forced to drive to an ATM to withdraw money. She was then shot again after trying escape, the documents said.

The 35 charges include: rape, criminal deviate conduct, attempted criminal deviate conduct, robbery, carjacking, criminal confinement, aggravated battery, intimidation, burglary, battery and battery with bodily waste.

Anthony, Brown, Pugh and Spells are also charged in the Oct. 24 break-in at a home in the 7000 block of Spring Mill Road, during which men tied up a couple and assaulted them before ransacking their home and leaving in the couple's Jeep.

Hill has not been connected with the Spring Mill incident.
