INDIANAPOLIS - A toddler was taken to the hospital Monday morning after being discovered unresponsive in a southeast-Indianapolis home.
Indianapolis police (IMPD) said sometime after 11 a.m. Monday, an 18-month-old child was found unconscious at a home in the 5800 block of Grassy Bank Drive.
The child was taken to Riley Hospital for Children. The child was stable at last check.
Investigators said the child may have taken prescription drugs.
The Department of Child Services has been notified and is investigating, police said.
