WHITESTOWN, Ind. -- If you know somebody looking for a job, the Whitestown Amazon fulfillment center is hosting an "Amazon Jobs Day."
The facility is hosting a job fair Wednesday from 8 a.m. - noon.
An Amazon representative said the company plans on hiring people on the spot.
All job candidates are encouraged to dress comfortably. Appropriate attire includes closed-toe, flat heeled shoes, no loose or dangling jewelry and clothing accessories, and hair longer than shoulder length tied up.
They should also arrive with the necessary documentation required to complete an I-9.
It is unknown exactly how many jobs are open at the Whitestown location, but there are more than 50,000 openings nationwide.
The Amazon facility is located at 4255 Anson Blvd in Whitestown.
The Whitestown location is one of 10 locations across the country hosting the job fair.
