NOBLESVILLE, Ind. - A masked man brandished a handgun and stole prescriptions from a Noblesville pharmacy early Monday, police said.
Officers were called to the CVS pharmacy at 111 Lakeview Drive just before 6:30 a.m. on a report of an armed robbery.
Employees said a man came into the store, his face covered, and pulled a gun, demanding medication.
He escaped with the drugs through a rear door. No employees were injured.
Police searched the area with K-9 officers for about an hour, but didn't find any trace of the man.
Legacy Christian School was placed on lockdown during the search.
The robber was described as light skinned, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 130 pounds wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses and a scarf across his face.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Noblesville Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at 317-776-6371.
