INDIANAPOLIS - A 25-year-old man suspected in a fatal hit-and-run crash turned himself in to authorities Wednesday night, police said.
Jacob Stricker, 25, was arrested on a preliminary charge of failing to stop after an accident, related to the July 12 collision that killed Patrick Hurd, 22, of Merrillville .
Investigators believe Hurd was walking north in the 8800 block of Township Line Road when he was struck by the vehicle.
