INDIANAPOLIS - A 25-year-old man suspected in a fatal hit-and-run crash turned himself in to authorities Wednesday night, police said.
Jacob Stricker, 25, was arrested on a preliminary charge of failing to stop after an accident, related to the July 12 collision that killed Patrick Hurd, 22, of Merrillville.
Investigators believe Hurd was walking north in the 8800 block of Township Line Road when he was struck by the vehicle.
