Aurora police chief arrested in connection with domestic dispute

AURORA, Ind. - The chief of police of Aurora, Ind., was arrested Sunday morning in connection with a domestic disturbance at his home.

State police and Dearborn County Sheriff's deputies said they responded to a domestic disturbance call at 4 a.m. Sunday on the 400 block of Harrison Ave. in Aurora.

There, police said they found Bryan Fields, 42, and his wife Holly, 42, in an alleged physical confrontation which resulted in her being transported to Dearborn County Hospital.

Fields was arrested on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor domestic battery. 

Bryan Fields is the chief of police in Aurora.

Police said the investigation into the event is ongoing and could also result in similar charges against Holly Fields.
