Body of Columbus man found in retention pond following crash

COLUMBUS, Ind. – The body of a Columbus man was pulled from a retention pond Sunday afternoon.

Columbus firefighters and police officers found the body of 37-year-old Thomas Kedrowitz in the pond located near the intersection of Carr Hill Road and Morgan Willow Trace.

A woman called police when she saw Kedrowitz’s Jeep leave the roadway and travel through a field before going into the water.

Crews arrived on scene shortly before noon and pulled the body from the water about 40 minutes later.
