KOKOMO ---Former President Bill Clinton is on the campaign trail in Indiana again for Hillary Clinton days before Hoosier voters cast their ballot in the primary on May 3rd.

"There are some days that I wish that we hadn't been married for almost 40 years because you might believe me more, if I just showed up here as just another guy who used to be president, but I am telling you -- she is really, really, really good," Clinton said.

Clinton spoke to a crowd of several hundred people packed into the United Auto Workers United Hall. He praised  his wife's experience and ability to reach across the aisle to make change.

"Everything she did for New York after 9/11 had Republican support," Clinton said. "Everything she did when she was a member of the armed services committee to make sure the National Guard's people and reservists who went to Afghanistan and Iraq got same healthcare benefits as veterans did to deal with the extra problems of traumatic brain injury and all the people who had post traumatic stress syndrome had -- it all had Republican support."

This event comes after Chelsea Clinton's Indiana visit where she met with voters at the Hillary Clinton Campaign Headquarters in Indianapolis.
