INDIANAPOLIS -- You can now catch a BlueIndy car at the airport.

The electric car sharing service has expanded its service to Indianapolis International Airport, with 20 parking spaces available at any time of day.  The station "will provide a convenient transportation option throughout a person's stay and an affordable choice to travel around Indianapolis," said Mayor Joe Hogsett.

The BlueIndy fleet has 200 cars around Indianapolis already, and the parking spaces at the airport featuring the company's electric "Bluecars" will be located on the fifth level of the airport's daily parking garage.  The cars have a driving range of up to 125 miles.

BlueIndy launched its service in September 2015 and claims a membership of more than 1,600.
