INDIANAPOLIS -- To take advantage of the upcoming warm weather, BlueIndy is offering one year of free membership to the program.
You can get that year for free if you sign up using the promo code "SPRING." You'll still have to pay the service charge, which is $4 for 20 minutes, then $0.20 per minute before taxes. There is also an airport surcharge of $6 for trips beginning or ending at the airport.
One year of the service usually costs $9.99 per month.
BlueIndy started in September 2015, and reaction has been mixed since it launched.
Some business owners say the program takes away spaces that customers could be using.
