Bob Kevoian and Tom Griswold of "The Bob and Tom Show" will host a live comedy event to benefit the children of recently deceased comedian Tim Wilson,
Wilson died in February following a heart attack, leaving behind his wife and their two children.
The Tim Wilson Memorial Fund has been set up in Wilson's memory, in part to help pay for his kids' college expenses.
Wilson was a frequent guest on "The Bob and Tom Show" and a fan favorite.
"We want to support his wife and kids, and a benefit show is the best way we know to honor Tim's memory," Griswold said. "Getting together to laugh, while raising money for his family, seems like the perfect tribute to a great guy."
Performers at the event include Chick McGee and Kristi Lee, from "The Bob and Tom Show," and comedians Drew Hastings, Heywood Banks, Donnie Baker and Dr. Gonzo, among others.
The show is Friday, May 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Paramount Theatre in Anderson.
