MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ind. - Indiana police were investigating the discovery of a body that was found in Montgomery County on June 15.
Police confirmed the identity of the body as 41-year-old Shane Sowers on Tuesday afternoon.
The body was found in a trailer near in the 8100 block of East 900 South near Ladoga, officers with the Indiana State Police said.
Officials said it was not clear what led to the death or how long the body had been there.
An initial autopsy conducted in Terre Haute on June 16 was unable to provide an identification because of the body's partial decomposition.
Officials said there were no immediate signs of foul play, but foul play was not ruled out.
