BOONE COUNTY, Ind. -- A man identified in a Boone County crash had been reported missing by family members in Clinton County and was found dead Sunday morning in a SUV that had run off the road.

The missing person report for Roger Clark, 64, was filed with the Clinton County Sheriff's Office around 8 p.m. Saturday when he didn't return home from a trip to the family farm. Deputies helped Clark's family look for him but they were unsuccessful.

A homeowner discovered the SUV around 10 a.m. Sunday in 3100 block of E. State Road 47 in Lebanon.

Investigators believe Clark lost control of his SUV, it left the road, went through a bean field and hit a tree about a quarter-mile from the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say they suspect Clark may have had a medical emergency.
