Former Zionsville teacher pleads guilty to 'sexting' with middle school student

ZIONSVILLE, Ind. -- A former orchestra teacher at Zionsville West Middle School has plead guilty to having a “sexting” relationship with a middle school student last year.

Michael Plewa, 33, was arrested in April of 2016 after a student reportedly told police she had exchanged sexual text messages with him while she was in 8th and 9th grade.

At the time Plewa was an orchestra teacher at the school.

Plewa plead guilty to child seduction on Wednesday. 

A sentencing date for Plewa has not been set.
