Black Expo events continue Saturday with start of boxing tournament
INDIANAPOLIS - Downtown Indianapolis was busy Saturday with thousands of people taking part in the Indiana Black Expo's Summer Celebration.
Attendees were participating in everything from college admission booths to day one of the Invitational Boxing Showcase, where some of the top amateur boxers in the Midwest duked it out in the ring.
The competition pits top Indiana boxers in all weight classes against talented competitors from Ohio and Kentucky.
