INDIANAPOLIS - A boy is in serious condition after being hit by a vehicle Wednesday night.

The boy, 8, was struck at North Keystone Avenue and East 33rd Street.

He was taken to Riley Hospital for Children in serious condition.

Police said the vehicle stayed at the scene after the accident, and alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
