Tuesday is the final day to vote for the Broad Ripple Bark Park to get a makeover

INDIANAPOLIS -- Tuesday is the final day you can cast a vote and help the Broad Ripple Bark Park win a makeover through the Beneful Dream Dog Park promotion

The Indianapolis dog park was one of seven dog parks named finalists in the six week contest to receive a Dream Dog Park makeover from Beneful. 

As of noon Tuesday, the Broad Ripple Bark Park had 50 percent of the vote. Raleigh, North Carolina was in second place with 44 percent.

The winning park will get  $30,000 in park improvements and dog park equipment worth $5,000, as well as hands-on volunteer support from the Beneful Dream Dog Park team.

You can vote one final time for the Broad Ripple Bark Park through midnight on November 1. 

The Broad Ripple Bark Park was established in 1999 as Indianapolis’ first dog park. The two-acre park is a popular place for dogs and their owners to socialize with one another.

  • Leash Free Zone Dog Park near Dallas, Texas
  • Millbrook Dog Park in Raleigh, North Carolina
  • PAW Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
  • Piedmont Park Dog Park in Atlanta, Georgia
  • Swope Dog Park in Kansas City, Missouri
  • Boomer Street Dog Park near Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Since it started in 2010, the program has helped build and revitalize dog parks in  16 different communities.
