BROWN COUNTY, Ind. -- Vice President Mike Pence is in Brown County this weekend to celebrate a family wedding.
Pence arrived at Brown County State Park Friday afternoon.
Pence's son, Michael, and Sarah Whiteside are registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and Macy's with a wedding date listed as October, 21. The couple officially married last December in a small ceremony at the governor's mansion in Indianapolis while Mike Pence was still governor.
State Park Property Manager Doug Baird would not confirm the vice president's visit but said that the park will remain open to the public and they do not anticipate any increased traffic issues.
