INDIANAPOLIS - Northbound interstate traffic south of Indianapolis was brought to a halt Wednesday morning as crews responded to a vehicle that had caught on fire.
UPDATE: One lane of traffic on northbound I-65 is open, but traffic is moving very slowly.
Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) cameras show the vehicle was headed north on Interstate 65 near Southport Road when it somehow caught on fire around roughly 8 a.m.
Crews have stopped northbound traffic as they respond to the blaze.
You're advised to take U.S. Highway 31 north into Indianapolis for your morning commute.
