A California attorney and Navy veteran has pledged to pay for 26 kindergartners to go to college.
According to a story on CNN Money, Marty Burbank, is pledging to fund each student's tuition for two years at community college and two years at a California state school -- or the equivalent if they want to go somewhere else. The students just have to draw a picture or write an essay each year about what going to college will mean for them and their families.
Burbank was planning to use the money to buy a new boat when his pastor's sermon one Sunday about charity changed his mind.

At the time of the Burbank's announcement, the students were decked out in Indiana University sweatshirts, their teacher's alma mater.
