Medical condition causes death, crash into diner

COLUMBUS, Ind. -- A medical condition contributed to a crash and the death of an 88-year-old man in Columbus, Ind. Monday morning.

The man crashed into Flo's Diner on Jonesville Road Monday morning, causing minor damage to the building.

The man was transported to Columbus Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

The Batholomew County Sheriff's Office does not believe the death was caused by the crash. 

The victim's identity has not been released.

No further information was available.
