CARMEL, Ind. - Carmel police have taken a teen into custody after he led officers on a chase through Hamilton County in a stolen vehicle.
Police say the car was stolen from the area of 126th Street and Keystone Parkway near the Mohawk Hills Apartments.
The pursuit began when officers spotted the vehicle on Main Street. Police said the driver hit a tree before the car flipped on its side near Wilson Drive and Sleepy Hollow Lane northwest of the Palladium Center for the Performing Arts.
Police said the suspect fled the vehicle, but they were eventually able to catch him. The 14-year-old suspect was taken into custody, but police don't believe he was working alone.
