CARMEL, Ind. - Carmel police were searching Tuesday for a 23-year-old man last seen outside a Broad Ripple bar.

Walton Matthew Ward was reported missing by his mother Monday night.

Julie Kvinge told police that she dropped her son off in front of Peppers Bar on Friday, but that she hadn't heard from him since.

Ward is described as white, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 145 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.

He was last seen wearing black jeans, a black shirt with white lettering and white tennis shoes.

Anyone with information about Ward's whereabouts is asked to call Carmel police at 317-571-2500.

Lt. Jeff Horner said Indianapolis police's missing persons division is also investigating.
