CARMEL, Ind. - Officials with Carmel Clay Schools just announced the district’s plan to make up snow days.
Students must make up three days of lost instructional time, but instead of adding days to the end of the school year, the district will make up the lost time by lengthening the school day.
Starting March 6 through the end of the school year, the schedule will go as follows:
- Carmel High School: 7:45 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.
- Middle schools: 7:40 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.
- Elementary schools: 8:03 a.m. to 2:50 p.m.
The school year is scheduled to end on May 29. However, if there are more cancelations, those make-up days will be added to the end of the school year.
