INDIANAPOLIS -- America is far from being a dry country, but just 83 years ago, we were not legally allowed to consume alcohol.

Dec. 5, 1933 was the end of more than 13 years of prohibition.

To celebrate, the Indiana Craft Beer Association is throwing a party with -- you guessed it -- lots of drinks.

The Indy Repeal Party will have 10 featured bartenders, each one sharing their appreciation of alcohol and spirits with uniquely crafted cocktails to enjoy.

To celebrate the 21st Amendment, the Indy Repeal Party will be at the catacombs of the Indianapolis City Market from 7-10 p.m.

Tickets cost $30, and include three drink tickets. Additional drink tickets can be bought at the party.

You're also encouraged to wear your favorite prohibition-era outfit.
