INDIANAPOLIS - A group of Liberians in Central Indiana are asking for help as the Ebola virus continues to spread in Western Africa.
Nyen-Nyen Gbee is especially worried about her three children and fiancé who have managed to avoid the virus.
"The fear is really in me because when I hear that my neighbors are infected, oh my God. It's kind of worrisome. I don't even know how to do it. I pray about it. I call them on a daily basis," she said.
Gbee is among a group of three friends who recently moved to the U.S. to make better lives for their families. They say each day now comes with fear that the virus will continue to spread because they
have all seen loved ones die in recent days from Ebola.
The Liberian Association of Indiana is organizing a march in September to raise awareness for the issue.
