INDIANAPOLIS - A child accidentally shot another child in the arm on the city’s northeast side Monday afternoon, officials said.
The incident happened at the Timber Point Apartments, officials with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said.
Police said a 4-year-old boy suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Community North Hospital. Officials said the child was stable and was later transferred to Riley Hospital for Children.
Police said the gun belonged to a parent who believed the gun was stored properly.
