FORT WAYNE, Ind. - One of the men suspected in the kidnapping of three Cleveland women has ties to Indiana, officials say.
According to ABC affiliate WPTA in Fort Wayne, Ariel Castro's daughter, Emily, is currently serving a prison sentence at the Rockville Correctional Facility.
She was convicted in 2008 for trying to kill her infant daughter by slashing the baby's throat, but the baby survived.
In another twist, Castro's son, Anthony, worked as a copy editor with the Journal Gazette newspaper in Fort Wayne where he wrote an article about one of the kidnapped women and the impact of her disappearance on her neighborhood.
