ANDERSON, Ind. -- A community justice officer in Anderson has been charged with the rape of a 17-year-old girl.

Chase Arbuckle, 20, faces several felony charges including rape, battery and criminal confinement.

Arbuckle was an employee of Madison County's Community Justice Center, which in part manages a work release program.

The teen said she was in a relationship with Arbuckle, but over time he became controlling and deviant in the way he spoke to her about sex.

The victim said the incident happened in a Jeep outside her friend's house in November 2015.

Court documents detailing the night of the alleged incident show Arbuckle took the gun off his belt and placed it on the dash just before he forced himself on the victim.

After the attack, court documents say the victim told her friend Arbuckle raped her and told her to get out of the Jeep and not tell anyone.

We've reached out to the Community Justice Center to find out more about Arbuckle's background and work history, but have not yet heard back.
