Conde Nast names Indianapolis International Airport best in the nation for third year in a row

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis International Airport has been named the best airport in the nation for the third year in a row in the Conde Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards. 

Conde Nast announced the results on Tuesday, after they say more than 300,000 dedicated readers participated in the online awards survey. 

The winners were based on customers' direct experiences with hotels, resorts, airports and travel destinations around the world. 

The 2016 Conde Nast Readers' Choice Award is the latest in a long list of honors and recognition given to the Indianapolis International Airport this year, including the 2016 Best Airport in North America Award from Airports Council International North America, The 2016 TripAdvisorTravelers' Choice favorite for U.S. Airports in the medium-size category and a second place on the Travel + Leisure Magazine's annual World's Best Awards among U.S. domestic airports.
