INDIANAPOLIS - Sam Jones Expressway was shut down after a serious crash during Monday's evening rush hour.
The Wayne Township Fire Department confirmed via Twitter that three people were injured in the crash near Bradbury Avenue.
Officials said the crash happened when an eastbound car lost control and crossed into the westbound lane.
No information about the victims of the extent of their injuries was immediately available.
Wayne Township also tweeted that eastbound traffic on Sam Jones Expressway was restricted near Interstate 465 because of a bus fire, but the bus fire was not related to the other crash.
