HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. - A crash on Interstate 70 in Hancock County impacted traffic Friday afternoon and into the evening.
The crash closed all westbound lanes of I-70 near the 112 mile marker just before 4:30 p.m. Lanes remained closed until approximately 10: 15 p.m., officials said.
The Hancock County Sheriff said a semi overturned onto another vehicle.
Officials said one person was lifelined after the crash and another person was taken by ambulance to St. Vincent Hospital.
Even after the interstate reopened, traffic remained significantly backed up.
