CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. -- A Crawfordsville High school student was killed in a crash Thursday morning.
Officers responded to the two-vehicle accident on US 136 just east of Nucor Road around 7:17 a.m.
Police say Thomas Edwards, 17, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and a passenger in the second vehicle were taken to Franciscan Health Crawfordsville and later transferred to St. Vincent Hospital. their condition was not released.
US 136 was closed for nearly hour hours as crash reconstructionist investigated the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
