MAP: 11 people shot, 3 killed in violent Indianapolis weekend

INDIANAPOLIS -- Eleven people were shot, three of them fatally, in a violent weekend across the City of Indianapolis.

Here is a breakdown of the reported shootings, with information provided by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. Nobody has been arrested in connection with the shootings, and no victims have been identified.

Saturday:

2700 block of White Knight Boulevard: Police were called shortly after 1 a.m.  One person was shot. They were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Sheldon and 24th streets: A man was found shot inside his car at about 3 p.m. He was taken to Methodist Hospital, where he died from his injuries. He was identified as Byron Davenport Jr., 44. 

Georgetown Road and 38th Street: Two people were shot at about 3 p.m. at a gas station near the intersection of Georgetown Road and 38th Street. Police say multiple weapons were used during the shooting, including at least one assault rifle.  One person was hospitalized in critical condition, the other had non-life-threatening injuries. 

7200 block of N. Michigan Road:  A female employee at a KFC was shot at about 5:30 p.m. She was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition. 

6900 block of E. 21st Street: A person was shot shortly after 11 p.m. at an Exxon Gas Station. They were taken to Eskenazi Hospital with several gunshot wounds in critical condition. 

Sunday:

5000 block of Lily Lane: Shortly after noon, one person was killed in a shooting. At last check, police say the death doesn't appear suspicious. That person was identified as Dwayne Lipscomb, 48. 

3000 block of Stuart Street: One person showed up at Methodist hospital with a gunshot wound at about 12:15 p.m. Police say the victim will survive the shooting.

6800 block of N. Cedarstone Drive: Just before 1 p.m., two people were shot at an apartment complex. One of the victims died at the scene, that man was later identified as Deshawn McKeller, 29. The other was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition. 

700 block of Lynn Street: Shortly before 2 p.m., a person was dropped off at Eskenazi Hospital with a gunshot wound. They suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
