Amber Alert canceled, child found safe

INDIANAPOLIS -- The child in an Amber Alert from Wednesday morning was found safe, Indiana State Police say.

An Amber Alert was declared for a the abduction of a 2-year-old from Auburn, Indiana.

According to Indiana State Police Sgt. Ron Galaviz, the child was found at 7:35 a.m. outside of Auburn. The suspect is in custody.

The Auburn Police Department believes he was likely abducted by Dale Curtis Craig. Dale is a 28-year-old man. He is 5-foot-10, weighs 162 pounds, with a shaved head and hazel eyes.  He was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, blue jeans, and black converse shoes.
