Shooting at Indiana State University determined to be self-inflicted

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- A man visiting Indiana State University accidentally shot himself in the leg Sunday night.

A 28-year-old man who was visiting campus Sunday night was shot in the leg. The man is not a student. 

The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. The victim was found near Cromwell Hall. 

The injury is not-life-threatening but will require surgery.
