INDIANAPOLIS -- The last of six defendants in a 2016 kidnapping and robbery case was sentenced Tuesday to 10 years for her role in the crimes.

Meg Thompson pleaded guilty on Aug. 9 to robbery resulting in serious bodily injury and criminal confinement. She was sentenced Tuesday to nine years in prison and one year in Marion County Community Corrections.

Thompson was one of six people accused of kidnapping and holding people for hours on the Near Eastside in August 2016. The victims told police their captors forced them to drive to a bank and withdraw money.
