School custodian charged with child seduction

DALEVILLE, Ind. -- A Daleville Community Schools employee was arrested Monday on charges of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Brady Milam, 41, a custodial employee with Daleville Schools, was arrested Monday in Delaware County. School officials said he was placed on administrative leave following allegations of an improper relationship with a female student.

Milam becomes at least the 10th school employee or educator accused of inappropriate conduct with a minor in Indiana since 2015. Click below to see the other school employees already sentenced or facing charges:

The school district said it is cooperating with the police investigation.

"The safety, health, and well-being of our students are of paramount concern and we will take all necessary actions to protect them and to fulfill the trust given to us by the greater Daleville community," the district posted on its Facebook page Tuesday.

Milam's arrest came on the same day the Mt. Vernon School Board voted to terminate a teacher's aide accused of having sexual relationships with sex students.

Kisha Nuckols currently faces charges of child seduction and dissemination of matter harmful to minors in that case.
