INDIANAPOLIS - The man accused of shooting his ex-wife outside a day care center is behind bars in Indiana two days after he surrendered to police in Kentucky.
Christopher Justice, 33, was booked into the Marion County Jail just before 3:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
Justice is charged with attempted murder after police say he shot his ex-wife outside the Eagle View KinderCare on the city’s west side Tuesday morning.
He fled the scene and eventually turned himself in to authorities in Lexington, Ky. on Wednesday evening.
His ex-wife, Shirley Justice, remains hospitalized.
Justice is being held on $100,000 bond. His initial court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
