People across the country will be using two wheels instead of four on Friday -- all part of National Bike to Work Day.

Both Carmel and Indianapolis have special events planned around the event to make it fun and easy for everyone to participate.

At the Monon Community Center in Carmel, you can park your car for the day and ride your bike to work.

In Indianapolis, organized group rides will be leaving from the Indy Bike Hub YMCA throughout the day. Mayor Joe Hogsett will be pedaling to his office, making stops along the Monon.

If you need even more motivation to ditch the car, free breakfast is being offered to bikers at both the Indy Bike Hub and Monon Community Center.

The events are sponsored in connection with National Bike Month.
