INDIANAPOLIS - Dozens of eager employers will hold a job fair on Tuesday in downtown Indianapolis.

The National Career Fair will be held at the Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre   on Ohio Street, and event planners are urging Hoosiers seeking employment to attend.

Butler University associate professor Daniel McQuiston said Hoosiers interested in attending the job fair should be prepared if opportunity knocks.

"If you don't have a degree, what you have to fall back on is your experience. Through any job that you have had, you have some knowledge and you have some experience. You just have to find where are the companies, where are the opportunities, where I can apply that experience,” McQuiston said.

The National Career Fair runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at 31 West Ohio Street.

Event planners advised job seekers to dress in business attire and bring resumes.
