Police are searching for a driver who crashed a car into a pole just north of downtown early Wednesday.
Detectives said the crash happened just after 12:20 a.m. near 16 th and Delaware streets when a driver crashed a BMW into a pole and damaged a building.
Witnesses told police the driver jumped out of the car and ran away immediately after the crash.
Police asked anyone with information about the crash to call Crime Stopper at 317-262-TIPS.
