INDIANAPOLIS -
Indianapolis police are searching for the driver who abandoned a car after it flipped on top of another vehicle in a crash.
The crash happened about 3:30 a.m. Friday near 16th Street and Goodlet Avenue in the parking lot of a car dealership.
Police said the driver went off the road and hit a sign before the car flipped on top of another vehicle that was for sale on the lot.
At least eight of the vehicles on the lot were damaged, officials said.
The driver left the scene of the crash, investigators said.
Police asked anyone with information about the driver or the crash to call Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-TIPS.
