FORTVILLE, Ind. - Hamilton County authorities say eight people were injured in a crash Saturday when a driver failed to yield at an intersection near Fortville.
Investigators said a 17-year-old juvenile from Fishers was driving northeast on Connecticut Avenue when the driver allegedly failed to yield the right of way at the intersection with Southeastern Avenue.
The car collided with a Chevrolet Traverse driven by a 31-year-old Noblesville man, who had to be extricated by emergency crews.
A total of eight people, including several juveniles, were injured in the crash and had to be taken to area hospitals. None of the injuries were believed to be life-threatening.
