NOBLESVILLE, Ind. - A former elementary school custodian was charged with distributing child pornography Thursday.
Samuel Barnette, 42, of Noblesville, was arrested in August after a woman told Noblesville police that she had seen "naked kids" and "naked children" in the search history of Barnette's home computer.
During the investigation, Barnette told police he had received child pornography via email and that he had used online search engines to find pictures of naked children, officials said.
Official documents also said that police found many violent pictures and videos depicting child sexual abuse in Barnette's email.
Assistant U.S. Attorney A. Brant Cook said Barnette faces 20 years in prison if he is found guilty.
