TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - A former Brazil City Police Chief has pleaded guilty to charges of official misconduct for pocketing federal grant money intended for child safety seats.
Terry Harrison, 48, answered to the charges in court Thursday, the Terre Haute Tribune reported.
Harrison was arrested in Jan. 2011 after he was accused of cashing a federal check that was never deposited into a city bank account.
Harrison's sentencing date was scheduled for Feb. 21.
