INDIANAPOLIS – Guns and explosives were found inside a northeast side apartment Tuesday evening, according to officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Around 8:40 p.m. police were called to an apartment in the 7700 block of Carlton Arms Drive for reports of a shot fired.
While police were investigating the incident, they found a large number of explosives, guns and gas masks inside the apartment.
Officers on the scene requested IMPD’s bomb squad and called in the FBI and ATF to assist in the investigation.
Police talked to people on scene, but no one was arrested. Officers said the investigation in ongoing.
