NASHVILLE, Ind. - The search for a missing 22-year-old man had a safe ending Friday, shortly after Indiana State Police sent information about his disappearance.
ISP had asked for help to find Larry "Levi" Voils III. His parents told police he hadn't been seen since Thursday morning.
"Minutes after seeing a media alert ... a person located him in rural Brown County and reported it to local authorities," ISP Sgt. Curt Durnil said. "Voils was found safe and returned to his home unharmed."
Information about the circumstances of Voils' disappearance wasn't released.
ISP thanked the media and residents for helping find Voils.
"Without this assistance, law enforcement's job would be nearly impossible," Durnil said.
