A basketball game in northwest Indiana turn took an ugly turn Friday night.

According to WLS-TV in Chicago, parents say the friendly rivalry between Bishop Noll Institute and Andrean High School turned racist towards the large Latino population in the crowd, when one of the student sections started chanting, "Build a wall, build a wall."

A fan said the student body for Andrean also had big placards with the face of Donald Trump.

Bishop Noll has a largely Latino population.

Parents say the students crossed a line.

The schools say they are looking into what happened, and are using this as a teachable moment.
