Police: Victim's car was EB in WB lanes

HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. - One person was killed in a wreck on Interstate 70 in Hancock County on Thursday evening.

The crash happened at the 103.6 mile marker, just east of the State Road 9 Greenfield exit, around 11 p.m., officials with Indiana State Police said.

Police said Frank Adams, 65, of Beech Grove, Ind., was pronounced dead at the hospital following the crash.

Adams' Chrysler 200 was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes when it collided with a semi, police said.

The semi driver, from St. Louis, was not injured.

Westbound lanes of I-70 were closed following the accident. All lanes were back open as of 3:30 a.m., officials said.
